outlines and describes a research topic and question(s) you are perusing through your thesis (agreed by your academic supervisor); critically reviews literature relevant to the topic and presents it in a coherent and logical manner; details the methodology that you are using to investigate your research topic/question(s); presents any initial findings/results you have made; and outlines your proposed timeline to completion of your thesis (in the semester when you enrol in Professional Practice Thesis 1 (6CP) (11671).

Criteria & Marking:

The minimum word count for this assessment item is 4,000 words and will be assessed on the:

- quality of presentation (10%)

- quality of the literature review at current stage of thesis (20%)
