1. As the lack of coordination hurts the performance of a supply chain in many aspects, e.g., efficiency, responsiveness, and operational costs, please critically discuss the importance of collaboration among multi-stakeholders involved in supply chain management for companies or organizations. What are the different types of collaboration in supply chain management? Support your answer using two real-world examples illustrating the successful implementation of collaboration strategies among stakeholders in supply chain management. (12 marks)

2. Transportation management ensures the smooth and timely movement of raw materials or products from suppliers to manufacturers, warehouses, distribution centres, and ultimately to the end customers. In particular, multiple options of transportation network are designed to enhance the responsiveness in a supply chain. Critically discuss what are the key capabilities, advantages, and disadvantages of direct distribution, distribution centres, and cross-docks. For each of the options explain the impact on supply chain responsiveness. Support your answer with real-world examples illustrating the implementation and outcomes of each transportation option. (12 marks)

3.A snowboard manufacturer makes the end product, denoted as an item A, using multiple key components. The relationship and lead time between the snowboard (item A) and components are summarized in Table 1. Based on the historical data (see Table 2), the manufacturer aims to forecast the demand of the snowboard (item A) in week 8 before conducting its ordering decisions. There are 15 units of B item, and  130 units of E item stored in its inventory. In addition, 50 units of H item will be arrived in week 4.
