Writing Assignment 1: Reading Response Guidelines

Deadline and Submission:

This assignment is due by 23:59 EST, Friday, May 24, 2024. Your assignment is to be submitted to the  Dropbox  on Avenue to  Learn.  Your assignment will  be  automatically filtered through turnitin.com once it is uploaded to Avenue. Please save your document with the following file name: “[Surname First Initial] ANTHRO 1AA3, Assignment 1” .

Example : “Siek T ANTHRO 1AA3 Assignment 1”

As stated in the course syllabus, there will be a 10% penalty for every day the assignment is late, for  up to five  calendar  days,  including weekends. After five  calendar days from the original deadline, late submissions will not be accepted and you will receive a grade of zero (0%) for this assignment.

Since this assignment is worth 25% of your final grade, only Faculty-approved MSAFs will be accepted. Students must contact Dr. Siek (and their TA cc’d) within 24 hours of receiving notice that the MSAF has been processed to arrange extensions.

If you are registered with SAS, please email Dr. Siek and your TA at least one week before the deadline to make arrangements for extensions, if needed. Non-SAS extensions will only be given for extenuating circumstances. Having other course work or midterms due at the same time is not an extenuating circumstance.
