This is Task 2:
Here is a decision scenario that should be supported with optimisation analysis.
Thompson Distributors packages and distributes industrial supplies. A standard shipment can be packaged in a class A, class K, or class T container.
One packaged class A, K, and T container yields a profit of $9, $7, and $15 respectively.
Each container prepared requires a certain amount of packing material and a certain amount of time, as stated below.

Total Packing Material available each week: 130Kgs
Total Packing Time available each week: 240Hours
Jennifer Thompson, head of the company, must decide the optimal number of each class of container to pack each week. She is bound by the resource restrictions laid out above, and also decides that she must keep her six full-time packers employed all 240 hours (6 x 40 hours) each week. Also remember that the number of containers of each class packed must be non-negative integers.
Requirements for this task:
A. In a Word/.pdf document, state the Decision Variable(s), Objective, and Constraint(s) for this optimisation analysis.
B. In Excel, construct a deterministic base-case model to predict the resulting consumptions of the two resources (packing material and packing time) and profit if 10 units of Class A, K, and T containers (a total of 30) are packed and shipped.
C. Using the base-case model from part B, on a separate worksheet, carry out the required optimisation analysis to obtain a recommendation about how many units of Class A, K, and T
containers should be packed and shipped in a week, in order to maximise total profits while satisfying all relevant constraints mentioned in the scenario.
D. In the Word/.pdf document, report the optimal values of the Decision Variable(s), the Objective,
and the status of the Constraint(s).

A Word/.pdf document containing answers for parts A and D above.
An Excel file containing answers for parts B and C above, on separate worksheets.
