Andrea is the killer only if she was at the crime scene between 10pm and 11pm. But Andrea was with Juliana then. And Juliana was never at the crime scene. If Andrea and Juliana were together between 10pm and 11pm and Juliana wasn’t at the crime scene, then Andrea wasn’t at the crime scene during that time either.  Therefore, Andrea is not the killer.

(a) Identify the premisses and the conclusion and formalise the argument in c1 , providing a dictionary.  (10 points)

(b)  Decide whether the original argument is propositionally valid using your favourite method. (15 points)

2.  Consider the following two c1  sentences:
