QBA 3305 Introduction to Business Data Analytics
Syllabus Summer 2022
Course Materials: You must have a web cam to use for the exams. We will use the textbook extensively to discuss problems and learn how to use JMP. You will be instructed on how to download JMP for free and how to install it. No masks required .
Grading: 15% will be based on assignments, and 85% on exams which will be found under the heading Quizzes in Canvas. You will be using Lockdown Browser to take each exam which monitors your movements during testing and notifies me if your phone or other papers are detected while taking a test. If you keep up with the material as it is presented and contact me anytime you have questions, there will be no need to try to cheat on the exams. If Lockdown Browser does indicate cheating took place, the resulting grade will be a zero.
Topics Covered: Business Analytics, Data Mining, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Regression, Time Series Analysis, Logistic Regression, Tableau, Linear Programming using Solver, and Analysis of Variance.
