Title: Assessment 1 – Create Interactive Media Assets
Due Date: Due end of week 5, Friday, 1 July at 5.00 pm

ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION
This assignment runs throughout the term, with tasks set at regular intervals. You will complete a set of short technical tasks (Task worksheets on Moodle) that demonstrate your competency with the technology used in this course. The purpose of providing these more skill-focused assignment tasks is to develop your ability to work with animation and interaction in the Adobe Animate program. This assessment details some very specific tasks you need to complete but you also need to consider their creative potential. The tasks get progressively harder and involve increasingly complex forms of interaction. If you follow the Task Worksheets carefully then everything you need to complete the tasks should be made available to you.
You can 1) build each task separately otherwise, 2) accumulate each task to create one final cohesive piece utilising all of the worksheets. Whichever decision you make, you must submit 5 folder of files for each worksheet. Not only completion of tasks function but also further extention to create your own vision and creative solution are required. Each worksheet has a core objective plus additional objectives.
Tasks:
1. Create basic animation assets
2. Animate content using a varying series of paths and easing
3. Program an interface that changes in response to mouse input
4. Program an interface that responds to the keyboard

other assets, management of files, etc. See the detailed task descriptions at the end of each of the weekly worksheets.
