2. Project Monitoring (Earned Value Analysis): You are responsible for a project within the UKSOL a multinational from the Energy Solar Industry . UKSOL recruited you to produce 300 units of PV-Solar panels over 30 days. You planned to produce at a steady rate of 10 PV-Solar per day. The budget cost per PV-Solar is £510. The total project budget is £153.000. At the end of day 20 you have made 117 PV-Solar at a cost of £120.000 (AC)
a) Calculate the Planned Value (PV) and the Earned Value (EV) of the project- (5 marks)
b) Calculate the Schedule Variance (SV) and the Schedule performance index (SPI)- (5 marks)
c) Calculate the Cost Variance (CV) and the Cost performance index (CPI) -(10 marks)
d) Calculate and explain the Estimate at Completion (EAC)- (10 marks)

Background information
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is the UK's largest automotive manufacturer, built around two iconic British car brands: Land Rover, the world’s leading manufacturer of premium all-wheel- drive vehicles; and Jaguar, one of the world’s premier luxury sports saloon and sports car marques. The company employs almost 38,000 people globally and supports around 275,000 more through our retailers, suppliers and local businesses. Manufacturing is centred in the UK, with additional plants in China, Brazil and India. JLR is currently planning a project for its expansion in South Africa or Mali, you, as a project manager require to purpose two of the below topics to ensure JLR produce the best decision.
3. Essential skills: Critically discuss the type of essential skills a project manager should have to be able to successfully manage a project. Provide examples and support from reputable sources and explain how these skills could contribute to the project success. (20 marks)
