Homework Assignment 5

As stated previously, test your solution to Problem 1 before submitting it for grading.  Make sure that your program runs in the IDLE programming environment.

1.   (40 points) Programming Exercise 8 from Chapter 7 of your textbook.   This exercise is essentially asking you to implement heapsort without actually saying the word “heapsort”.  Use the code given in the textbook asyourfoundation. Reminder: do not use outside sources, including the Internet, in deriving your solution to this problem.

That’s it. That’s your whole homework assignment. Really. This assignment is small so that you have plenty of time to prepare for your final exam.
