MAT 108, Winter 2022, Homework 3

Guidelines:  Write mathematically and grammatically correct sentences.  Proof read your work before turning it in.  Cite all your sources at the end of each writing assignment.  Pla- giarism will be heavily penalized.

When writing a proof, be as patient and detailed as possible. Use connecting sentences to improve clarity. Justify every step of the proof by indicating the axiom or property used.

Turn in questions indicated with *, use others as a study guide for quizzes, midterms and final.
