Task

In this assessment, you are required to submit a Report (Word Document) to communicate an organisation's business problem analysis.

You are expected to:

• Identify the key business problem of an organisation
• Provide evidence to the problem
• Select and justify the tool or method to use to analyse the problem
• Apply the tool or method to illustrate or present your problem
• Conclude with a clearly articulated problem or opportunity statement

Please note: Your research needs to be conducted within the Australian context.

Important

• This assignment is focused on problem identification only, not on providing solutions (this is where Assignment 3 comes in).
• This is a research assessment so your work should reflect evidence of credible and reliable data.
• You are required to use 1-2 news media article/s to demonstrate that the business problem is recent/current. The news media articles MUST be within the last 2 years.
• A minimum of 5 peer-reviewed academic journal articles must be integrated into your project. DOls for academic publications must be included.
• In addition, you should refer to industry reports, published media articles and other sources of information to provide a background to the problem.

Submission

Your submission must contain the following:

• AWord document:1200words +/-10%, not including references. Your work should be written in report style (not short answers).
• Visual representation of your problem analysis demonstrating:
• the pathway you followed
• how you applied the selected tool/s and/or method/s when analysing the problem
• how you have arrived at the problem or opportunity statement
• Asigned must be included in your submission. The cover sheet can be uploaded as an ,individual document so it does not interfere with similarity index of your report.

Use of Al in this Assessment

Vivas, interviews or other invigilated tasks may be used by the subject's teaching team to verify student achievement of learning outcomes to ensure they have completed the work on their own and to assess their knowledge of the answers or any work they have submitted. Failure to adequately answer questions during the viva or other invigilated tasks may result in a mark of 0 being awarded for the assessment task. The vivas orinterviews shall be recorded for future reference.
