Final AssessmentPurpose: Evaluate your understanding of the material in this unit.
Due: 8th OR 9th June(48-hour window- choice of time and date within these days is up to the individual student)
Value: 30%
INSTRUCTIONS
- This final assignment consists of SEVEN (7) questions.
- Some questions carry more marks than others, as indicated.
- You must answer all seven questions
- You have TWO (2) hours to complete the final assessment, plus an additional ten minutes.
- Please enter your answers into the boxes provided.
- Your time will start from when you open the exam by clicking the button below. Make sure you are ready to take the final assessment when you open it.
- All work will be automatically submitted when your time expires. You may also submit the exam early, by clicking the button at the bottom of the final assessment page. You will not get a second attempt, so submit carefully and use your time wisely.
- For question 1, you will need to upload a diagram. This can be in any format you like. If for some reason you cannot upload your file, complete the rest of the exam and then contact us afterwards.
- If you encounter a problem during the exam (for example a power cut), don't panic. Again just contact us as soon as possible to let us know what happened. Contact information is at the top of the exam page. Save screenshots of responses where possible.
- This final assessment is open book. You may access internet resources and course materials during the course of completing the exam.
This final assignment is to be completed on your own. Communication about the content of the final assignment with other students is not permitted.
Intentional plagiarism or collusion amounts to cheating under Part 7 of the Monash University (Council) Regulations
Plagiarism: Plagiarism means taking and using another person's ideas or manner of expressing them and passing them off as one's own. For example, by failing to give appropriate acknowledgement. The material used can be from any source (staff, students or the internet, published and unpublished works).
Collusion: Collusion means unauthorised collaboration with another person on assessable written, oral or practical work and includes paying another person to complete all or part of the work.
Where there are reasonable grounds for believing that intentional plagiarism or collusion has occurred, this will be reported to the Associate Dean (Education) or delegate, who may disallow the work concerned by prohibiting assessment or refer the matter to the FacultyDiscipline Panel for a hearing.
