What are the Themes for the Infographic:

As stated in the Guidelines, choose one of the following themes to use as your research focus.

•   Climate Change

•   Water and Pollution

•   Water in Africa

•   Water and Energy

•    Water and Canada’s First Nations

Make sure your theme has an appropriate scope for the purpose of this assignment

You will choose one of these topics as your research focus for this assignment.

When choosing your topic, make sure it has an appropriate scope so that you can accurately present your research within the visual guidelines for this assignment.

If your topic is too broad, you won’t be able to cover all of the aspects of the issue, but if your topic is too narrow, you won’t have enough information to present.

Here are some comparisons of statements, to guide you in selecting an appropriate topic:

When preparing your infographic, you should be able to answer “ Yes” to all these questions, which are the criteria of the Rubric:

• Does the Infographic have a good title?

•    Does the Topic statement clearly introduce the issue?

•    Is the information accurate and relevant?

•    Is there a solution proposed to the issue?

•    Is there a map and chart/graph/table, with accompanying descriptions?

•    Is the data mostly presented with high-resolution visuals?

•    Is there a good balance of visuals and text?

•    Is the Infographic eye-catching with a good colour scheme?

•    Is the information easy to read and logically organized?

• Are there format, spelling, grammar, or bibliographic mistakes?
