Objectives:

To modify a historical image

To effectively use Photoshop to edit and manipulate photos

For this assignment you will interpret a historical event depicted in an image and modify it in a contemporary style or to reflect contemporary content.

Things To Think About:

What is your relationship to the subject being represented? What is considered sensitive or appropriate, and to whom?

Required submissions:

Please include screen shots of any AI prompts that lead to images that appear in your assignment as .JPG files using the same naming convention: LastnameFirstname_AssignmentName(and number 1 or 2 if need be).jpg

AI: AI may be used to produce images that you will manipulate in photoshop and use to make the scene more contemporary. For instance you may have Dall-E produce an image of a squid. You can then use photoshop to cut out that image of a squid and add it to your historical photograph. This project must be done in photoshop.
