Research Question
RQ1: To what extent workers’ perceptions of workplace design affect productivity and well-being (a) physical office environment (b) biophilic design (c) spatial features?
RQ2: How generation differences will differentiate their perspectives of a good working environment for their wellbeing and productivity?
Research Objectives:
- To analyse different workplace design features (physical office environment,biophilic design , spatial characteristics) and their impact on workplace productivity
- To analyse different workplace design features (physical office environment,biophilic design , spatial characteristics) and their impact on employee wellbeing
- To investigate age generation especially gen Z preferences for workplace design features
Hypothesis:
H1: Workplace Design → Workplace Productivity
H1: Perceptions of overall workplace design are positively associated with workplace productivity
H1a: Physical office environment is positively associated with workplace productivity.
H1b: Biophilic design features are positively associated with workplace productivity.
H1c: Spatial features that support personalization, flexibility, and privacy are positively associated with workplace productivity.
