Assignment Scenario
You have been assigned to prepare and develop a web analytics report that outlines the performance of an e-commerce website (JJEsquire.com) during the first quarter of 2022 [01-01-2022 to 31-03-2022]. Your report is intended to be read by the senior managers, executives and board members of your chosen business so it’s important that the information is accurate, clear and tailored for a time sensitive and a non-specialist audience.
Your report should focus on visitor acquisition by:
1) identifying what marketing channels and campaigns that visitors land on the website from and
2) identifying what marketing channels and campaigns resulted in on-site conversations across the website.
The metrics you report on must be based on the on-site conversion events and key performance indicators (KPIs) you’ve identified for tracking JJEsquire.com’s objectives. Complete the tutorial activities and speak with your instructor for identifying what reporting components [metrics, dimensions, segments, time] you should focus on for a Visitor Acquisition report. On Canvas, review the “Reporting” series of videos posted under learning materials between Tutorial 8 – 12 on the Modules page for how to report on and visualise different dimensions and metrics.
. Carefully read the Marking Scheme (page 2 of this specification).
. You will need to include screenshots of your Analysis Workspace visualisations in your report and ensure they’re captioned. Highlight and annotate visualisations where necessary to draw the reader’s attention.
. This assessment must be delivered as a .docx or .pdf document.
Note: you will not be marked off your Analysis Workspace environment.
. The report should be between 800 – 1,000 words.
