Instruction for CA3 Individual Assignment
Assessment
100 Marks. (This assignment constitutes 40% of the overall assessment.)
Case Study:
As technology improves every aspect of our lives, the real estate industry in Singapore is also embracing emerging technologies like drones, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet-of-Things (IoT).
Singapore-based Operva AI, is one such company that deploys drones with infrared thermography capabilities to conduct building inspections. This will replace traditional manual tests for detecting air and water leakages as well as defects in the exterior facades of buildings.
Another company, Airsquire, uses A.I and 360-degree cameras to create 3D virtual replicas of construction sites. Project managers can then conduct virtual inspections remotely, reducing the time required for physical site visits.
The key areas of the use of drones, A.I and IoT are:
Quality surveillance
Construction management
Procurement and payment
Facilities management

The individual task:
To promote one or more of the key areas of the use of drones, A.I and/or IoT in real estate and the companies that are offer such services.
Project Requirement
With what you have learned from the module, you are tasked to promote emerging technologies in real estate in Singapore by building a static website to support the following:
1. Study the case study and research the various technologies and companies that provide services using these technologies. This will support your website development with relevant and interesting contents.
2. Create a website that promotes 1 or more of the key areas of the use of drones,
A.I and/or IoT in real estate in Singapore with the following required web pages:
Total of SEVEN webpages only:
a. Page 1: Short Introduction of the real estate in Singapore and the use of technology.
b. Page 2 & 3: Details of one or two of the key areas.
c. Page 4: Details of a company or companies that use these technologies.
d. Page 5: Explanation of your thoughts about the impacts and benefits of these technologies in these sectors.
e. Page 6: Enquiry form with successful submission to page 7
f. Page 7: Successful Signup page
*You are required to create all webpages with each subject content mentioned above.
3. Reference to requirement 2f, a Signup form with successful submission using form elements and Javascript. (To allow web visitors to register)
a. Include Javascript function to ensure required form inputs are not empty or selected.
b. Include Javascript function to extract form input values.
c. Include Javascript function to alert different message based on the digital solution selected. (Hint: You are to use conditions and operators)
d. Include Javascript function to redirect to Page 6 displaying successful form submission message.
4. All SEVEN webpages must be inter-connected by links such as hyperlink, navigation tags, etc…
5. Short reflection document not exceeding 1500 words. (Hint: You can include challenges faced, ideas, your thoughts, concepts or themes)
You are required to satisfy all requirements mentioned above and design the website with a proper HTML structure. There is no design theme stated for this assignment, so you may present your own design theme and colours. However, you are required to apply the Design Principles on your website.

Penalty Marks for Late Submission of Assignment
By one day: 20% to be deducted from total marks.
More than one day: submission will NOT be graded.
