Final Exam Instruction

Semester 2, 2021

Mid-Semester Exam

(i.) The Final Exam has two parts: Part I - Wattle Quiz and Part II - Exam Questions where you will need to provide written answers.

(ii.) The final exam covers materials from Week 7 to Week 12 (inclusive). For each question in Part II of the exam, you must show your analysis in accordance with appropriate theory. Providing the final answer only with no explanation will get zero mark.

(iii.) You can start attempting the Wattle Quiz any time during the exam. Be mindful of time management and allocate enough time to complete the quiz. There will be no second attempt or make-up quiz for any reasons.

Additional Details

(a) At 12:00PM for Group 1 and 12:10PM for Group 2 the Wattle link and the exam questions file will become visible to you and you will be able to access them.

(b) At 3:00PM (3:10PM) the exam ends and you must stop writing. This means you have 180 minutes of reading + completing Wattle Quiz + writing time in total.

(c) You have up to 30 minutes to scan and submit your exam script. Hence you must submit your exam answers by 3:30PM (3:40PM). All submissions after this due time will NOT be accepted.

(d) Your exam may be handwritten or written on an electronic device. Please have writing utensils and paper ready if you are going to write your exam on paper (e.g. drawing graphs).

(e) It is your responsibility to ensure that your handwriting is legible. Markers reserve the rights to not mark any illegible exam which would result a mark of zero.

(f) You must clearly write down your full name and university ID on the top-left corner of the first page of your submission.

(g) You must start your answer to each question on a new page and indicate which question is being answered at the top of the page. Where relevant, you must indicate the part of a question that is being answered within your answer to each question.

(h) All writing and graphs must be facing upright (i.e. your work must not be sideways or upside down).

(i) You must sort all of your answers (when you scan and/or combine them into a single PDF file) into the same order as the corresponding questions appear on the exam question file. Where relevant, you must sort all of your answers to parts of a question into the same order as the corresponding parts appear within that question on the exam question file.

(j) You must give the submission title and file name in the following format: Surname_UniID (e.g. Bayarjargal_1234567)

(k) You must submit your exam answers in ONE PDF file ONLY.

(l) You can submit your exam early, but it is your own responsibility to ensure that your submission is successful. For example, you need to check the e-mail confirmation of your successful submission and also check on Turnitin to make sure that you can see your sub-mission there.

(m) You may also submit your work to the ‘backup’ submission link on Wattle. Work submit-ted through any means other than the main submission link or backup link will NOT be accepted.

(n) It is your responsibility to arrange stable internet connection during the exam. We strongly advise you to have a back-up internet solution in case you encounter an issue during the submission.
