Virtual work experience self-reflection

You are required to prepare a report based on your reflection of the virtual work experience (VWE) program you completed, addressing the following task requirements.

Assessment weight: 5% of overall assessment for the unit

Due: 11.55 pm Friday 8th September 2023 (Week 7)

Task requirements and component weights:

1.    Provide evidence of completion of VWE task attach a screenshot of completion. (10 marks)

2.    Pick a consumer product or service business of your choice (Name the industry, product, unit price and approx. sale quantity per month).

For the organisation you have chosen, how would CVP analysis be useful in its forecasting and budgeting in a situation of rising sales volume each month.

3.   If the organization you have chosen is facing recessionary economic conditions impacting the whole industry, discuss the merits /demerits of each these strategies

.    Length of the report: 600 words.

.    Formatting: Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, and side margins 2.5cm wide (i.e., Normal margin).

.    Submission method: via the Turnitin submission link by the deadline. The link will be made available on iLearn.

.    You must submit your original work. Your uploaded report will be scanned by Turnitin for originality.

.    The report should be submitted as a single Word file. No other file format is permitted.

It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that work is submitted correctly prior to the due date. No hard copies of the report will be accepted and only Turnitin records will be taken as records of submission. Please refer to these instructions on how to submit your assignment/report through Turnitin and access similarity reports and feedback provided by teaching staff. Should you have questions about Turnitin or experience issues submitting through the system, you must email the unit convenor immediately. If the issue is technical in nature, you may also lodge OneHelp Ticket by referring to the IT help page. It is the responsibility of the student to retain a copy of any work submitted. Students must produce these documents upon request. Copies should be retained until the end of the grade appeal period each session. In the event that a student is asked to produce another copy of work submitted and is unable to do so, they may be awarded zero (0) for that particular assessment task.

Extensions and penalties

Late submissions of assignments

Unless a Special Consideration request has been submitted and approved, a 5% penalty (of the total possible mark) will be applied each day a written assessment is not submitted, up until the 7th day (including weekends). After the 7th day, a grade of‘0’ will be awarded even if the

assessment is submitted. Submission time for all written assessments is set at 11.55pm. A 1- hour grace period is provided to students who experience a technical concern.
