ECON2420 Online Quiz Information

Please read the following information carefully before starting your first quiz. Once you press

“Begin” the quiz starts and the timer is on.

★ Each quiz will consist of 5 multiple-choice questions.

★ You have 15 minutes to complete the quiz.

★ You only have TWO attempts – so you can only press “Save and Submit” twice and the highest grade will betaken.

★ Each quiz will contribute 2.5% towards your final mark, if it is in the best 4 of 5 quizzes.

★ The topics covered are in the description of the quiz link.

★ All quizzes open at 4:00pm on Wednesday and close at 4:00pm on Friday. Check the ECP for specific dates and add these to your personal calendar!

★ You are encouraged to commence the test at least 30 minutes prior to quiz closure (i.e. begin before Friday 3:30pm) to avoid any issues with timing.

★ Avoid having other internet tabs open or changing location during the quiz as it increases the chance of losing connection and wasting time reconnecting. You can reconnect if you dropout during the quiz, but the timer will still be running while you are disconnected.

★ You can use books, notes and slides as resources while completing the quiz. We recommend you have printed copies with you.

★ While working through the quiz, werecommend you press the “Save” key on the right hand side of each question.

★ You must submit the test by clicking on the “Save and Submit” key below the last question. The quiz will automatically submit any saved answers when time runs out, so there is noway you can exceed the allowed time. Warnings will appear when half the time, 5 minutes, 1 minute and 30 seconds remain.

★ You can only seeyour score after submission. Once the quiz has closed you can review the correct answers in Blackboard under My Grades > Quiz > Calculated Grade.
