Summer 2023

Course Description: A study of analytic geometry, limits and continuity, differentiation and integration of algebraic and trigonometric functions with applications.

Learning Outcomes: A successful student in this course will demonstrate skill in evaluating limits, show understanding of how the concept of limit is applied to the development ofother topics such as derivatives and integrals, shows understanding of the meaning of derivative as the measure of the limiting value of slopes of secant lines at a single point, demonstrates the skill of deriving basic derivative rules such as the power rule and the chain rule, demonstrates the ability to solve applications involving derivatives, shows understanding of the meaning of definite integral as the measure of the limiting value of sums of areas ofrectangles, demonstrates the skill of basic integration rules via antiderivatives such as substitution, and demonstrates integration by numerical methods.

Prerequisite: Math 122 or Math 130 or equivalent

Announcements: Announcements and additional information will be posted using the Blackboard online learning environment.
