Instruction:

•   This is an individual homework. No any form of cheating is allowed.

•    If you need help, please schedule office hours with your TA.

•    Start EARLY.

•    This homework covers SI chapter 3 (sections 3.1 to 3.5, and related exercise questions).

•   No coding is required.

•   All work must be typed or drawn with computer-generated graphs. Written or drawn by hand will not be accepted.

•    If you would like to code for some questions, any programming language is allowed.

•    Due Date: February 3, 2023, 11:59 PM Eastern Time

•   Where to Submit: Canvas

Task: Create a study guide for common distributions.

Requirements:

1)  All math must be typed in. Do not write or draw by hand. Learn to use LaTeX to write the math formulations. You can also use the equation editor in Microsoft’s Word or Apple’s Pages.

2)   Save your work in PDF and submit the PDF file.

3)   Content Coverage: SI chapter 3 (sections 3.1 to 3.5, and related exercise questions)

4)   Write it like a study guide (or summary) that you can use later.

5)  Your study guide will be graded by conciseness, insightfulness, usefulness, and the effort that you put in.

6)   You are not allowed to plagiarize from anywhere, anybody.

7)   There is no length restriction.
