6. “Happy Staff” is one of the main policies of the university.  Thus, the head of HR department hired you to conduct a research to investigate what are major factors that influence university’s staff job satisfaction.  After interviewing with some key people in the university, you believed that there might be 4 factors that staff concern. These factors includes: (1) Job demands; (2) Job autonomy; (3) Coworker support; and (4) Supervisor support.

After you collected the data from the staff sample, it’s time to conduct the regression analysis to determine what important factors that the company should focus in order to enhance staff satisfaction are.  

a. By using unstandardized beta coefficients to interpret the results. Among the 4 factors (Job demands, Job autonomy, Coworker support, Supervisor support), which one are the strong predictors of job satisfaction? (6 marks)  

b. Overall, how many percent that “all variable” in the regression model can explain job satisfaction? (2 marks)

c. Use regression results to provide the policy recommendation for the university to help them increase staff job satisfaction. (2 marks)
